Excited for What’s to Come

Tonight was a big night for me, because I made several big announcements to my friends & players:

  • I’ve created a company that I’m going to try to build into a business involving hosting Clocktower events & games, Storytelling, playing the game together, inclusively bringing in new players, possibly opening a physical location (eventually), and frankly, exploring the world of Clocktower to find a way it can be the cornerstone of a small business.

  • I’m going to keep my home game nights just for fun between friends - they’re not becoming part of the business.

  • I have 2 special events coming up at local venues in Carrollton & Addison, where we’ll play Blood on the Clocktower on weeknights as public events and show that we can bring a crowd of paying customers into their establishments, similar to bar trivia companies.

And also of course, we played games!

Bad Moon Rising - 11-player - evil won.

After the Courtier chose the wrong Demon, she died to idle Gossip. The Assassin deftly targeted the Fool, and the Sailor was drunk almost every day. In the end, the Chambermaid almost solved it, but she and others were killed abruptly by a charged Po.

Bad Moon Rising - 11-player - evil won.

An evil Revolutionary pair almost got caught, when the dying Moonchild decisively called out the name of the Assassin, who then offed herself in the night to sell that the ability worked. The Exorcist lived a while but never hit his mark, and the Godfather and Zombuul each got 2 kills by the end of the game.

Your Own Little Worlds - 11-player - evil won.

The Juggler juggled an impressive 4, and there was an early confirmation chain between Grandmother, Cannibal, and Artist, who learned on day 2 there was no Demon on the couch. But it wasn't till night 3, the Summoner transformed the Nightwatchman into a Lord of Typhon, so the Dreamer became an Organ Grinder, which confused enough good players to execute the Fool on the final day.
