Shaking Things Up
Tonight we shook things up in a few different ways - we tried a new food vendor for the first time in a long time, Panda Express, but more importantly, we played more games! I hustled people into sitting down and starting a game as soon as we had enough players for even a Teensyville, so that way everybody got in a game quickly, but later arrivals didn’t have to wait long for the next one to start.
Interestingly, this was the day before Easter, so attendance was down a bit from a typical Saturday game night. However, when I looked back at the same night in 2025, I was very encouraged, because last year I had to cancel the game night. Attendance then was almost none, due to many people going out of town for the holiday.
No Greater Joy, 6-player - good won.
Our first Teensyville game as a group! The Drunk Investigator's info was wrong, but not wrong enough to lead town astray. I guess they thought Sosa volunteered himself for execution under the assumption that his unknown Minion was a Scarlet Woman, or something.
Trouble Brewing, 8-player - evil won.
The Fortune Teller and Chef nominated each other in the final 3, so the ending Imp survived after catching a starpass. Turns out, he'd been the Poisoner poisoning both of them for days.
Sects & Violets, 11-player - good won.
When the No Dashii killed the Sage, she learned 2 players who could be the Demon. Most of the town suspected the Oracle (who had been transformed into a Sweetheart by the Pit-Hag), but then he died to the Witch's curse, having just nominated the other half of the Sage pings! The town sent it, and they were right.
Sects & Violets, 11-player - good won…
…although to be fair, I made a very unbalanced ST decision; evil should've won, but both teams played well.
The Savant was killed early, and the Evil Twin pair came out late. The town seemed pretty split on whether this was a Vortox game, for a while. The Cerenovus created chaos, even after his death, and the Snake Charmer found the Demon accidentally, I'm pretty sure.
